Living a meaningful life...

I found this on Facebook and felt it as really worth sharing... (Me, Myself & Spirit)

"You work 8 hours to live 4.

You work 6 days to enjoy 1.

You work 8 hours to eat in 15 minutes.

You work 8 hours to sleep 5.

You work all year just to take a week or two vacation."

Life is often described as a journey, but sometimes we get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to enjoy the ride. We work long hours, day after day, just to pay for basic necessities like food and shelter. We trade our time and energy for money, and sometimes we don't even get to enjoy the things we work so hard for. For example, we work for eight hours to afford a 15-minute meal or five hours of sleep.

We also spend years working hard so that we can eventually retire and enjoy our later years. But even then, we may find ourselves contemplating the end of our lives instead of enjoying the time we have left. It's like we're practicing for our own oblivion.

We've become so accustomed to this way of life that we don't even realize how enslaved we are by material possessions and social expectations. We collect things instead of experiences, and we forget to make memories that will last a lifetime.

In the end, life is short and precious, and we should make the most of it while we can. We should focus on collecting memories rather than material things. When we look back on our lives, we'll remember the moments that made us happy, not the things we owned. So, let's live life to the fullest and enjoy the journey.

In conclusion, life is a precious gift that we should cherish and enjoy to the fullest. We should focus on creating memories and experiences that will bring us happiness and fulfillment. As we get older, it's important to remember that time is fleeting, and we should make the most of every moment.

For some, this might mean retiring to a peaceful place like Appalachia, where they can spend their days surrounded by nature and loved ones, making new memories and reliving old ones. Whatever your dream may be, it's important to make it a reality and start living the life you've always wanted.

So go out there, collect memories, and live your life to the fullest. You deserve it!
