I'm really excited to share that we've got ourselves a cozy little corner here called "Appalachian Recipes," where we're all about sharing our favorite family dishes and cooking stories. It's like a big ol' kitchen where everyone's welcome to pull up a chair and swap recipes.

So, what's the scoop? Well, we're cooking' up something special – a good ol' fashioned cookbook full of those mouthwatering Appalachian recipes that make our hearts sing. And guess what? You can help make it happen!

All you have to do is share your go-to recipes, snap some pics of your culinary creations, or maybe even record a quick video showing off your cooking skills. Every little bit helps, and it's all for a good cause – our cookbook fundraiser!

Think about it: Grandma's cornbread recipe, Aunt Sue's famous fried chicken, or maybe even your own special twist on classic Appalachian grub. It's all fair game here! We're just getting started, but together, we'll grow and make this community a wonderful place to share our love for Appalachian cooking. It'll be a journey filled with delicious discoveries and heartwarming stories, and we want you to be a part of it.

So come on in, grab a seat at the table, and let's whip up some magic together. 'Cause when we share our recipes and stories, we're not just preserving our culinary heritage – we're cooking' up memories that'll last a lifetime.

We've added a group app created just for sharing your recipes, pics and stories. It's a great way to easily collect recipes for the cookbook while making new friends all over Southern Appalachia. Click the link below, ask to join and then invite your friends and family to join in on this amazing opportunity to help Appalachian's in need.

Let's make this cookbook fundraiser a success, one delicious recipe at a time. Ready, set, let's get cooking'!
